2008 SCCGE Conference Request for Proposals Thank you to everyone who submitted proposals for sessions at our annual conference. We are currently reviewing submissions and will notify those selected by June 30, 2008.

2009 NAGC Calendar Competition The National Association for Gifted Children wants your photographs of iconic South Carolina sites. For the 2009 calendar, NAGC will feature well-recognized images from across the states, all taken by their members. So get out there and show them some of our beautiful state. You might just end up with your photo on the cover of the calendar. Please see the requirements for submission on the NAGC Web site. The deadline is June 27.

Time to Start Thinking About Summer! Sue Lein - a parent of gifted children, former Board Member of Connecticut Association for the Gifted and owner of Camp Emerson which caters to Gifted and Talented Children - is sharing her article that helps guide parents as they search for summer options for their gifted and talented children. The article points out important questions to ask potential camp directors and program leaders, as well as helps children really think about what’s important this summer.
